I recently took a little trip to Sacramento, Californ-I-A. It was part of my gig as a workshop assistant for Rocky Mountain School of Photography. I’m fortunate to be working with one of THE top Adobe Photoshop Lightroom guys, David Marx. I learned the Lightroom ropes from him 5 years ago so it’s funny to come full circle. He’s the co-founder of The Lightroom Lab and if you’ve ever asked me a question about digital photo processing or Lightroom, I’ve surely sent you to his site for more information than you asked for.
Most of my time was spent inside since it was a digital lab course. I did sneak out one early evening to play with an infrared camera (photos coming next time)….whoa, fun! Here are some of my snaps from the trip, mostly looking out windows. This trip felt like a great expanse of space and time and it’s interesting to see how the photos document that, which wasn’t what I set out to do. All images were taken with my iPhone 4S and, ironically, edited with the app VSCO CAM, not Lightroom. There’s also a little Instagram and Magic Hour sprinkled in there as well.
